Sailfish are true speed demons of the ocean, easily identified by their distinctive, sail-like dorsal fin. They are pelagic predators, hunting in packs to herd and stun schools of smaller fish. The thrill of sailfishing comes from the visual spectacle of their attacks and their incredible acrobatics when hooked. We often troll artificial lures or use kite fishing techniques with live mullet or bonito to entice a strike. When a sailfish takes the bait, it's common to see them leap repeatedly out of the water, a truly unforgettable sight. They are a challenging and rewarding trophy for any angler.
